HSO is very grateful for the support of its players, audiences and patrons. Thank you!
We want to continue developing Hitchin Symphony Orchestra, allowing our audiences to enjoy new and exciting programmes and soloists, while at the same time coping with the rising costs of putting on concerts. If you’ve enjoyed our concerts and would like to contribute to the orchestra’s future development, we ask you to consider supporting us in one or more of the following ways.
As the orchestra is a registered charity, any donation you make is eligible for the Gift Aid scheme, through which we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you donate without it costing you a penny more.
Become a Patron
For a subscription of £20 (minimum) per year for Individual Patrons or £30 (minimum) per year for Joint Patrons, you will receive:

a discount of £1.50 off the price of your concert ticket (two tickets for Joint Patrons);

regular advance information about the orchestra’s activities;

invitations to attend rehearsals, social activities (including end-of-term meals), and the Annual General Meeting;

an acknowledgement, if you wish, in each of the orchestra’s concert programmes.

Donate
Money raised via the orchestra's Wonderful page will help HSO achieve its aims to widen our repertoire, attract new members, support emerging composers, and promote live classical music.
Donations will go towards the cost of putting on high-quality concerts, which may include:

advertising to attract new members;

engaging soloists;
-
hiring a grand piano for concertos;

employing extra players for large-scale works;
-
publicising the programme.
